    sanctioning bodies

Too many, what can be done to solve the problem of paper champions and poor matchups.

Maybe a league, like tennis in each division you gather points say start with 50, you beat someone with 50 you get 100 and they lose their 50.
You would be forced to fight the people with the most points because in the end the points leader is champ.
clearly not everyone can participate, tomato cans and under developed prospects and such just the top 10 guys as per ring magazine or something.
more fights and better matchups, and the winner gets a sweet bonus at the years end.
Promotions and contracts would be unneccesary really since they have to go for the points.

i dunno but i know the present system is killing boxing.

This is a better idea than whatever the fu&k is happening in Boxing now.

Nothing is going to "kill" Boxing, it'll stay alive, but all of this kind of crap definitely limits Boxing, it hinders the success/progress of Boxing.

When the fans, the people who love the sport, actually hate what's going on in the sport... it's not a good thing.
