I still believe that he was scared of Ruiz, this was Valuev's first fight on this level. He only started being active in the 7th round, right after he saw that Ruiz can't hurt him with his best shots (and Ruiz landed plenty in the first 6 rounds). -

Levin has zero chin though.
Surely you're not implying Valuev is a big puncher?Comment

I diasagrre that Levin has zero chin. His loss to Williams was due to a cut. He did have one other loss by KO in the beginning of his career, but that does not really count.
Valuev is an arm puncher. For an arm puncher, he is ok. He needs to hire somebody to teach him to punch with his body.Comment

A KO win over a guy like Levin does not make you a KO puncher.Originally posted by NautilusI diasagrre that Levin has zero chin. His loss to Williams was due to a cut. He hid have one other loss by KO in the beginning of his career, but that does not really count.

I agree that he's an arm puncher, but I don't think he'll evolve into much more than that.
He doesn't have the temperament of a big puncher.Comment
