A possible solution to this ****** promoters' beef.

So boxing fans have been denied of some fights that ought to happen, fighters want it to happen, but didn't because of this greedy beef between top rank and golden boy. Worse is that this **** will continue to happen for as long as they can't get their acts together.

Obviously a co-promotion doesn't work for these greedy mother****ers because they want all the profits for themselves. GBP at one time even accused top rank of cheating them of profits so i don't think they can work together to co-promote a fight.

So how about a fighters swap? Meaning...gbp will let one of his fighters to fight under top rank in exchange for a top rank fighter to be promoted by gbp. For example, top rank will get to promote donaire-mares with no participation from gbp and in return, top rank will let rios fight mathysee under gbp promotions. Or, whatever exchange that makes sense to both of them. They can also make an option B just in case one of the fighters gets injured during the training or something like that. Everybody wins and no complications.

    What do you guys think?

well he's trying to steal mares because he doesn't want to co-promote with gbp. that's why my suggestion is to eliminate co-promotions.

plus i dont think arum would feed rios to mattysse. high risk low reward. its an idea that is nice on paper but the snakes involved would destroy these good intentions fast.

arum may not like that idea but that's just an example. the good thing about this is it will expose which fighters are being protected by their promoters.

Mares is definitely not being protected. I think Donaire wins but Mares has fought the better competition at this weight.

Good idea, great for boxing but sometimes pride gets in the way too. However though if this happens Arum might not like Mathysee for Rios but prefers Garcia - Rios instead.

No it's called Capitalism in a new Socialist Country... Too much money to be made, and too many titles in play... Boxing will continue this trend because "There's a sucker born every minute" - P. T. Barnum

Well some of the fights we want made involve a less marketable fighter so switching one for one would be trouble economically. Somebody would lose out. Can you imagine Arum giving up Jr to make a Canelo fight for GBP? Lol

that's a good matchup too that boxing fans would like to see. rios-matthysse or rios-garcia are both exciting fights that we might never see because of the top rank-gbp fued.
