There's no reason he didn't fight margarito and there's no reason he hasn't fought Pacquiao other than he soiled himself at the thought of it...they're both pressure fighters and he can't handle constant pressure and guys walking through his best shots.

Floyd needs to fight one more fight before getting the Pac fight, that is if he finally decides to fight Pac due to pressure. And he has to announce it now! You don't mean Pac will go through another war and tear and queen Floyd gets to take a long vacation, do you? Floyd can get Pac if he beats Canelo.

Pac has fought: Clottey, Margarito, Mosley, JMM3, Bradley, JMM4 (Dec.)

Floyd has fought: Mosley, Ortiz, Cotto, (?)

You can tell that the playing field in this fight is no longer leveled. The war and tear on one side is apparent.

THen everybody in the welterweight division were having wars with each other, floyd reappeared and fought a game but obviously undersized and outmuscled LW JMM.(barely fighting in that weight class). floyd missed the agreed upon weight and JMM unable to secure a fight with pac at that moment said phuck it lets fight.
The rest is history, JMM got dominated by the bigger man.

A part of me thinks Mayweather is a little scared to lose against Pacquiao. I don't think he's anywhere thinking he'll get beat up, but just a close fight where he "might" lose that zero.

The other part of me says his issues with Bob Arum are preventing them from being able to work together. Y'all gotta remember Mayweather & Oscar were once young stars coming up making Arum his money. They both left Top Rank. And it just so happens both Mayweather & Golden Boy are not able to make any fights with Bob Arum's fighters (TOP RANK). I think it's more personal than anything else like business.
