WBO cruiserweight champion Marco Huck (35-2-1, 25KOs) is ready to fight Firat Arslan (32-6-2, 21KOs) in a rematch. Last Saturday at the Gerry Weber Stadium in Germany, Huck won a controversial twelve round unanimous decision over the former beltholder. After the bout was over, a lot of fans were unhappy and felt Arslan did enough to get the decision. Huck says there is no issue with a rematch, because he wants to prove the doubters wrong.

Talk is cheap, I donīt think they will give Arslan a rematch. Sauerland and ARD are a disgrace for boxing. Arslan = true champion.

How can ARD be a disgrace? Is HBO a disgrace to boxing when they show a fight with a close result? Huck won a close decision and a rematch would be welcome.

He didn't win, he was giving the decision, big difference.

After a certain age a fighter's ability quickly declines. For 95% of fighters over40, it is in free fall. Arslan is 42. By the time of a rematch Arslan will probably have slipped another couple of rungs. Therefore, Huck won't be proving much by beating Arslan in a rematch.

If Huck wants to portray himself as an opponent worthy of a Klitschko, there are better routes to go than beating a 42-year-old cruiserweight. Boytsov ain't doing **** now he's pulled out of the Fury fight, and he obviously wants to step up in competition otherwise he never would have made the Fury fight in the first place. He should get a fight with him or Seth Mitchell or Solis or someone, but I think Boytsov would be the best option.
