    The Shinsei Boxing Gym in the city of Kobe held a press conference where it was officially announced that former world bantamweight and featherweight champion Hozumi Hasegawa (30-4, 13 KOs) will face Mexican Olympic and WBC #13 ranked super bantamweight Arturo Santos (12-2, 4 KOs) on December 22 in Kobe. The fight will be a ten round headliner at super bantamweight.

    Hasegawa in the 122 mix eh, good move...IMO he was little bit too small for 126

      He was a small bit although i would have liked too have seen him against John which was a fight he was aiming for.122 is a strong division though hopefully Hozumi still has plenty left in the tank.Im just glad hes back injuries have caused inactivity in the last two years

          Hasegawa is a good addition to the division. Win or lose he will be in exciting fights because of his willingness to mix it up.

            Should have been fighting at 122 before but he's a ballsy guy. was chasing big fights.

            Good to see him at a more reasonable weight.
