this isnt the 60s and 70s anymore, cant believe people still believe the no *** before fights thing lmao. it has been proven by numerous scientists and experts that *** does not correlate with winning fights, in no way, shape, or form. its a never ending myth it seems...

I believe that in the old days a boxer had to abstain for months, during his whole camp. Except for Jack Johnson, Harry Greb, and Max Baer that I know of.

I'd bet that the scientist who proved that is was not relevant, were not boxers. I'd say that the only ones who'd really know would be the boxers themselves, and-if they knew the intimate facts- their trainers, who would be noting how well or badly their fighter was doing.
