Did Edwin Valero Surpass Diego Corrales?

First of all Edwin Valero and Diego Corrales were both great champions, both had great punching power, Both lived recklessly, They both died recklessly and both had woman problems, They were both Latinos, They were both two weight champions of the world at Lightweight and Super-feather weight. In so many ways they were very similar.

I can not help but ask two questions:

    1. Did Edwin Valero surpass Diego "Chico" Corrales before he died? He was undefeated and won each and every fight by brutal knockout. Chico had lost a handful of fights but ultimately had more fights.

    2. If Edwin Valero v Diego Corrales fought at Superfeather weight or lightweight who would have won?

How can you even ask that? Corrales beat Castillo, Casamayor, Freitas, Manfredy, Jukko, Gainer, etc. Champion in two weight classes, Super Featherweight and Lightweight.

Valero was also a two weight champion but lacked the resume that Corrales had. His notable win is only DeMarco. You can give him names like Lozada, Mosquera, Shimada, Pitalua, add all those names and they still don't surpass a win over Castillo and Casamayor.

They don't even surpass the 4th round stoppage loss over an overweight Castillo.
