I liked watching Valero fight. I couldn't believe what was going on with him outside the ring it all happen so fast.

2 division champ, 100% KO ratio beat amazing boxers with decent careers.
He was making HOF's 2-3 weight classes above him quit in sparring.
He had an aura about him that was amazing All Time Greatesque even.

It's obvious that he was going to do amazing things in his career had it not been cut short. He's a legend and one of my personal favorites.

there have been pleanty of 2 division champs in boxing, are they all ATG's? what makes you so sure he wouldn't have gotten exposed?

his best win was against Demarco, who wasn't really anybody at the time. the majority of his opponents were tomato cans. i'm not saying he didn't have potential to do big things, but calling him an ATG that early is dumb.

you know how boxing works. we hype mofos to death the Boom! he gets knocked out and is shown to be overrated. his power wouldn't save him against the other elites in the higher weight classes. Marquez wouldve ruined him. 140 division wouldve exposed him.

I admit this guy was good but if Demarco is the biggest name on his resume, that doesn't say much. Isn't randal bailey a two division champ, is he a HOF? He made people quit in sparring too. I liked Valero, he was exciting, but Demarco was too green in that fight to judge this guy as an ATG, just my opinion.
