Marquez needs to forget how to box? What do you mean? Marquez is not a godlike master boxer you percieve him to be, just becuase he found a way to hide from Manny's LEFT, thats all, he feeds off of Manny southpaw stance. ask Katsidis who kd him. Baby bull wobbled him, Floyd toyed with him, past prime shot Barrera kd him, many fans thinks Barrera won.
1. He was not able to finish Marquez because Marquez found a way to hide from Manny's Left hand during his survival mode in the first round. And Marquez had been applying the same technique ever since. (See my thread/s). It explains Marquez's technique, but if youre just a fan and or dont know boxing, you may not understand it.
2. Have you seen their second fight? When did you start watching boxing? Marquez DID ran into Pacquiao's left hook, the one that kd him in the second fight. but like i said Manny was in an awkward position that is why it wasnt as devastating (see my post above). Those left hook was not based on 2 rounds of Hatton fight, it was an explaination on how the left hook if thrown correctly in the correct position can hurt or even KO Marquez. Never say never. Anything is possible in boxing.
3. Manny cant just fight at a pace that will tire Marquez. The strategy in the offense and defense must be effective, not just the rate or pace. (see my thread). It needs to be continiuous but controlled aggression.
