Interesting...I never knew Dib is an Arab ******. In that case, Dubai might prove an excellent site for a world championship fight for Billy. These guys love to talk about money; that part of the world could prove quite lucrative for a fighter of Dib's background. Even better, it could help spread interest in boxing within that region. I'd say that "50" would look pretty good if he can successfully pull off a show in the UAE.

Thanks for posting the video. I've seen that footage before, but I forgot it involved Dib. The fight was a mess from the start. It's no wonder that it ended the same way. Frankly, everything happened so fast that it's difficult to morally blame Billy for punching Yamaguchi while he was down. A DQ might've been in order, though.

I think the Middle East is an excellent site to hold a mega fight, Dubai especially. The money that flows in and out of that place would make even Floyd and 50 shut their mouths and work together. The main obstacles are the religious police who might find boxing as an insult to the Koran and of course, radicals although I think Dubai doesn't have to worry about that. IIRC it was Tyson or Holyfield that was offered a lot of money to fight in Dubai by the emirs.

I seem to recall hearing/reading that. Well, if they offered Tyson and Holyfield big money, it would seem that there should be no real problem staging a boxing match in Dubai. Then again, what stopped the fight from being made in that land if there was a lucrative offer? More money in Vegas?

It because when Floyd had irs problems and oscar bailed him out, oscar made him sign a iron clad non compete contract that last 5 years and so he cant do business anywhere else but through GBP. So he has a choice sit out for 5 years or keep fighting and let oscar take a peiece of the $$$$$$.

and everytime a new fight comes oscar makes him sign a revision of that non compete contract and so Mayweather is stuck being Oscar bitch till he dies.

Its quite simple really

50 is more serious about starting a promotion than floyd ever was and

2 - 50 has much more cash on hand than floyd

3- 50 knows how to promote a product much better than floyd (g-unit, vitamin water, street king, sms etc)
