who the **** says matthysse is unbeatable? i've heard unbeaten but unbeatable? marquez is a great fighter but he's almost 40. yeah he makes pacquiao look ordinary but he's also had tough fights with lesser fighters. it would be a lot closer in my eyes. marquez has a shaky chin so him getting stopped at 40 by a good puncher like matthysse isn't entirely out of the question either.

Just make it 8, single elimination, and you could finish it in 12-16 months, not over 2 years.

I mean hes a big hitter with good body punching with decent boxing skills and pretty good chin.

Sure Marquez is a much better boxer great body punching also and much higher ring iq and some power of his own but he's been hurt and almost out by lesser oppents katsidis for one so if he can pull him in a tough fight and hurt who knows what would happen but I doubt it tho. Also it'll never happen perfect case of risk and no reward.

I guess some people think going life and death with Katsidis/Diaz I, (who have similar styles to Mathysse) = automatic easy destruction of Mathysse.
