i disagree, part of the excitement around boxing is fighters who are willing to trade, the kinda mentally that is willing to take one to give one.

boxer vs. boxer = average excitement
boxer vs. brawler = highly exciting
brawler vs. brawler = edge of your sit kind of excitement
