Comments Thread For: Angulo Ready To Move On From Worst Year Of His Life

It’s been a miserable 12 months for Alfredo Angulo, to say the least.

Monday will mark one year to the day of his sixth-round knockout loss to James Kirkland. Angulo had the Texan down and nearly out in the opening round, but was instead floored himself and eventually stopped in a sensational war.

The crushing defeat was Angulo’s last fight to date, though hardly the worst part of the past 12 months of his life. This year began with the Mexican slugger being held in El Centro Detention Center due to overstaying his U.S. Visa. The process was believed to be a simple one, but it would be another seven months before Angulo would finally see daylight.

Angulo will be a beast if he conditions properly and works on his defense. hunter should be good for him.

There are two positive things that have come from all of this: 1) Angulo can now come in and out of the country at will , and 2) his body has been able to rest for a whole year after that beatdown he received from Kirkland! I wish him luck in his life and career.

Some tune ups and then go after a Kirkland rematch or K9. I still want to see that. Angulo-Bundrage: A Real Dog Fight.

Bundrage, really??!! I'd rather watch paint dry than watch bundrage fight...there is so many better fights out there for angulo
