This would be a good test for both Golovkin and Oosthuizen!

I wonder how his power will translate to 168, we saw two MWs in Miranda and Abraham, both monstrous punchers at MW, move up to 168 where their power went down significantly.

Ouma is not very good example. At the time Golovkin had some very serious management problems. The night before the fight he and his team slept in airport. He had bad flu.

In russian language he said in interview after Ouma fight he said. "I was terrible - I could barely see him and legs where extremely heavy. I was so slow that there was no point in reacting to his moves - I was too late. So I just kept thrawing punches "in his directio" and it broke him."

Ouma fought arguably his best fight but by the end he was KO'd and brutally beaten up. Broken chik bones, concussion, something also that I don't remember. He went straight to hospital and spent there considerable time after that he retired for good.

He's no hype. He's very seasoned as amateur (dropped Bute, Dirrell etc. in those amateur gloves) and now in pro he's a legit champ backed by HBO. He has terrific economical technique, good timing and he has very good chin. Main thing hi's got serious power. He drops people with glazing shot. Even when he lands on block, opponents hands start to hurt very soon.

In fact it's a nightmare - having to fight a guy who can take a very good punch and hurts no matter where he lands.

After Proksa fight Golovkin declared that he will fight anyone meaningful (money and titles) from 154 to 168. Honestly in this divisions I only see Ward as a serious threat. Even Sergio (I'm his big fun) would be weared out and hurt.

Abraham and Miranda are nowhere nere GGG level and never where.

Will do nothing for his career whatsoever. He should get better management.

Any American exposure is good. He has to take it where ever and against whomever he can. HBO can't force anyone to fight him.

I don't want to see GGG move up. I want to see him fight a couple top middleweights first. Disappointed with this news.

Macklin? Murray? Did these guys get the call? Even Sturm might wanna fight him now that he got nothing to lose.
