I know he trained world champions,
but they were already either former or current champions.

But, did he create any?
taking them from beginning all the way to a world title?

exactly. you can go through any great trainer's resumé and you will see he only "created" a few fighters, not more. to single out Roach is a joke. its true for any other as well

Roach was the assistant trainer for the late Eddie Futch. He learned alot between that his own career and years of training. His job is to make fighters the best they can be. He does that fine.

He created Pacquaio. If pacquaio kept going how he was going before he met Roach he would have been KO'ed hard and not even relevant in boxing today.
