Apparently we know Geale doesn't have the funds to buy off the WBA like Sturm did.

Sucks for him, but he knew going into the Sturm bout who he had to face next, and I think I remember seeing by the end of December, and he didn't bother to go through with it.

It's a joke they gave him a month or two after his Sturm bout, and allowed Felix to duck Golovkin for 2 years, but he knew what he was getting himself into with the WBA.

Did Geale know that Sturm's WBA belt had a 18 months-long "problem", and that problem was called Golovkin? Of course he knew... And he fought for that belt and won it... For a fair and square new champ the first thing to do next was to fight Golovkin... But what Geale did? He stroke a deal for a fight with some Australian (Mundine, 37 years old)...

This is not even fractured logic -- this is the ostrich's logic... According to such logic, Golovkin had to became an old fart in order to get a chance for a belt fight...

for once i can only applaud the wba. thats how sanctioning bodies should deal with ducker frauds like Geale. he wants to fight Bumdine who got knocked around by other bums in Australia for some years rather than engaging with GGG in a HBO televised bout, fair enough but guys like that don't deserve being called champions. also hes obviously lying about how the IBF would have stripped him if he agreed to fight GGG since the IBF granted him an interim fight anyways. So they would have given him the opportunity to lose both belts to GGG in the ring like a man too

WBA did right but he didn't do this in multiple occasions with other fighters so i hope he started doing this to the champs following WBA's rules seriously right now,i'm waiting to see the same with JOHN,etc.....;i mean the champ has to fight the mandatory or they strip the champs!!!
