    Grachev vs Bute

Wow, can't believe it's this weekend.
What're your thoughts on this fight? I'm actually going for the upset by Grachev.
It's going to be at LHW, I still think Bute is a little unstable from that Froch beatdown and if Grachev can lay it on, he can KO Froch.

while i'd love to see it, i can't say that i think it's likely that grachev can beat bute

grachev was the best pro sillakh had fought, other than despaingne (who hasn't really done much himself,)

bute has been in with a completely different class of fighter. he can also really ****. sillakh doesn't look like he's got the pop to really put the fear of god in a man. he can hurt a guy, given that he's a big LHW and a guy that size can crack a bit by default, but he's not a knockout puncher for his size. bute can hurt a cruiserweight with those things.

Bute will destroy him. Sillakh was taking Grachev apart before he, somewhat fortunately, caught Sillakh as Sillakh leant in sloppily. I don't see that being very likely at all with Bute.

If Grachev isn't knocked out with an uppercut within the first 7 rounds I'll be surprised.

Bute was all but stopped by Andrade and had was knocked senseless against Froch. He was also stopped in the amateurs by GGG. He just isn't that sturdy of a fighter, and his confidence has to be placed in question.
I expect Bute to win comfortably, but Grachev has a very real chance to catch him with something and put him away.

Are you forgetting how durable Grachev is? Can't say the same for Bute. Grachev HAS a pretty good chance here IMO.

Who was it that Bute fought and got dropped but got like a 20 second count?

Librado Andrade. A man with a limited skill set, but he had solid durability and provided a lot of pressure. If that fight had been one minute longer, Bute would have been stopped and stopped badly by sub world class fighter.
Grachev is just the kind of sub world class fighter that can beat Bute. Not saying I think he will, but it is absolutely possible.

That's the exact same thing I was trying to say on my previous post.
