I hope he doesnt get a big fight right away, from everything I've read about his injury I'd hate to see him get hurt. I think he should play it safe and just retire.

That fight would be great for both fighters. If Mesi won, he would redeem himself, if Jirov wins, he will get back in the mix.

From everything you read? You must not have read anything. Every doctor that has examined him has said that he is at no more risk to fight than any other person in the sport.

Good move on his part though. Jirov is a good choice, I would like to see him take on an easier guy for his first fight back.

this fights hard to predict. jirov hasnt fought in a while, mesi even longer, jirov's on the downside of his career, and the last fight was very close.

i dunno whod win this one...

With boxings lax rules and regulations and inconsistancies from state to state, it's possible that the doctors that evaluated him could have been veterenarians, or pharmacists. I don't think he should fight, and I think his dad is greedy for pushing him to fight again.

Mesi will ICE Jirov inside of 3 rounds-it wont even be close.

Jirov is a punching bag who is all thru, someone needs to protect Vassily from Vasilly.

Easy fight for a fresh but rusty Mesi...a punching bag.
