does anyone really care about TMT or SMS or GBP or Arum or Don King or anyone else? They all have their own agenda and guess what it is...... wait for it........ MONEY!!! a side bonus might be making the best fights or improving the sport but at the end of the day, money hungry rich pigs. i still believe boxing need only one money hungry pig like the UFC, to run everything, so fighters HAVE to fight and dont have an option. it takes a lot of the politics out of it. But thats unlikely to happen and i have no idea how to make it happen so, LET THE BEEF CONTINUE! Boxing p4p best sport in the world

I am actually glad 50 Cent is doing his own Promotion to be honest...I think he will take it serious compared to Mayweather who wants his fighters to fight when he fights (Like Jesse Vargas)

I think Dirrell and Gamboa will be better off with 50! I think because of his fame he could do very well with this Promotion...even without Mayweather!

Damn without GBP or Mayweather backing 50, he better have Bob Arum backing him or else it will be a cold place for him in the boxing business. I had hope for him when he had people who had boxing experience backing him but unless Bob fronts the money and his busniess experience 50's looking for, I don't know what will come of SMS.

At least he has solid fighters signed. Maybe Bob will work with him and front him whatever money he is looking for. Maybe Bob would be more enticed to help 50 since he is a "former" friend/business Partner of Mayweather's/GBP?

50 Cent is worth $250 million. I doubt he needs Bob to front him any money. Moreover, Al Haymon knew nothing about boxing before he advising fighters and he's done all right. That being said, promoting is a very, very difficult business. Most people fail miserably. it'll be an uphill battle for 50 here although he's on the right path having already signed some pretty big named boxers.

This. First thing I thought when read.

I just dreamt about 50, was cotching around his crib with him, Banks and his boys. Went into the kitchen and for some reason fucked with their phones, think I was just looking for the time but then I remember feeling my phone in my pocket so fuck knows.

50 got mad but Banks went fucking ballistic.

50 is an incredibly shrewd businessman, but he's out of his realm in this one. This is a battle he's never going to win. He's already beefing with some heavy hitters in boxing before even having a single event; Mayweather, Al Haymon, and Golden Boy. At best, he can become a Gary Shaw level promoter, but even that's going to take a lot of time and investment.

But he is, like you said, shrewd. It's that trait that may make him able to survive in the business, if he even cares to.

Believe it or not 50 is a very very smart guy and with Floyd being the great talent that he is together these 2 could have raked in huge amounts of money and also give a much needed shot to the Boxing Promoter world. Too bad they both have huge egos and let them get in the way of this potentially great partnership. Now Arum and GB will continue to dominate and continue to let all the boxing fans down with the BS and the politics.
