Nice that Socarras is getting some exposure on ESPN. But, if you're talking about Rances, he's already been featured on "Friday Night Fights". (I was there for his debut at the Texas Station Casino in Las Vegas.)

I've only heard of Yoandris; I've never seen him fight. I just looked the kid up on Boxrec. I can't believe how busy he's been these last couple of years. Salinas fought eleven times in 2011, and he'll squeeze in a seventh fight this year! He's fought all over the Americas, too. It'll be very interesting to see what this guy is all about.

Definitely nice that Rigondeaux is on the undercard for the Donaire fight, I just wish it was this weekend Really excited about it. I just wish Boxnation would pick it up, for some reason, they seem to not get Donaire's cards. They had Donaire-Navarez then they were scheduled to have Donaire-Mathebula but then cancelled it last minute then since then they haven't picked up any of his cards. They won't show it either even though they have an open slot on the 15th. They had requests for the Donaire-Nishioka card for months and flooded their website and still didn't show it.

I'm located in the West Midlands at the moment.
Cool, bro. Been to London. Great town.

I was looking forward to Beltran as well, but I'm okay with Farenas as a first fight after a long layoff for Yuri. Depending on how Gamboa looks, it can be Uchiyama, Salgado or Martinez next. Any one of those guys would make for a good scrap. I have a feeling Yuri won't stay at 130 for long, maybe two or three more fights, tops, after Farenas.

I agree..but I don't know why I believe that arce have a chance here..I watch yesterday again the fight with Vasquez jr and arce did stay strong at 12..he threw many many punches..that will be a problem for everybody..I noticed that donaire doesn't like to get hit.....k will laugh so much if an upset occur..that will be hilarious..lol

one thing i never like to count out is motivation, when u have motivation n are inspire n u combined that with Arces heart u might get an upset n at the opposite end u have Nonito who might not be as motivated n thinking that Arce has no chance, at the end of the day its just them in that ring thats whats interesting, its tough in that square circle anything can happen

I doubt this will be a fight of the year candidate since Rigo is so careful with aggressive fighters but it can definitely win the hardest to pronounce award.
