Joe Louis's Purple/Black trunks! Ali in White with black or red stripes. Ali just looked great in the ring! To me he's the fashion plate, traditional look with the tall Everlast boots with long laces!!
Personally don't care for the "billboards" of today. The fringe trunks and fake tats for advertizing. I don't blame a fighter for picking up all the pennies he can but its not a good look!
My personal favorite were a pair of Emerald green trunks trimmed in thin silver stripes with a dark red waist band. I wish I still had them along with my Ben Bow Gloves. Long gone! Ray.
