    Sources from both sides have advised BoxingScene.com that a deal is very close for Poonsawat Kratingdaenggym (48-2, 33KOs) to challenge WBA super bantamweight champion Guillermo Rigondeaux on December 15th at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. The main event would feature another super bantamweight collision, with Nonito Donaire defending his IBF title against Mexican star Jorge Arce. HBO would televise both fights.

      It's good that Rigo and Donaire are finally on the same card, which means they're likely to fight in the near future but Rigo could have chosen a better opponent. Agbeko is available.

                  poonsawat is a tough little fighter..his style should be tailor made for a counter puncher like guillermo though. but it will be a nice fight while it lasts. if poonsawat can take the punches of guillermo then it will be a long night for rigo...
