All that's left for Ward @168 are rematches. However, I think that he shouldn't rush to move up where there isn't much action. I think he should take one more fight @168 and fight the winner of Cloud/Pascal in August or September.

That's why Andre is in a tough spot right now. I understand facing Pavlik, because at least he is a "name", but after that there's no where else to go other than retreads or guys whose stars have fallen like Bute or Pascal. Honestly the most lucrative thing for him would be to move DOWN to 160 but that is simply not possible.

If I were him I would seriously consider just going on a European ass kicking tour and take on Kessler, Froch, maybe even Abraham in front of massive crowds there. I'm not sure HBO would go for that, however.

I do agree with the guy who said a few posts ago that the very best thing for Ward's career would be for Bute to rematch and beat Froch. That would set up a big money fight for him.

the lack of depth of that Division makes it hard for me to rate Ward as high as I do, its frustraiting when he has to fight guys that have been beat as easy by guys like Joe Calz, or what ever. Pavlik fight stinks to high heaven

Oh yeah, I totally forgot about that. Ugh, not a fight that I want to see and I'm hoping it falls through. Pavlik should fight Ward only after fighting Abraham or Groves. But since they already have fights lined up, it seems like Ward/Pavlik are almost forced to fight each other.

He won't have to fight the winner because neither of those guys will actually want to fight Ward when the time comes.

Kessler will win, then a week later his team will say "We offered Ward 2 million dollars to come to Copenhagen and he declined. We will not go to the US because we are little crybaby b*tches who haven't accepted our first ass kicking and continue to blame the officials"

Then Kessler will say he is staying at 175 and just fight the easiest guy available to him.

If Kessler wins hopefully Ward will do the honourable thing and rematch Kessler in his hometown. That would shut up his critics and Ward would have a chance to prove he can beat Kessler without an insanely biased referee.

I hope his 2013 schedule goes Kessler, Bute, Dirrell

The Dirrell bros. are irrelevant at this point in time. Bute only makes sense if he can beat Froch.

why? what does froch have anything to do with ward bute? if bute wins his next fight here it would be a good fight. styles make fights. or would you rather see him rematch the same guys over and over again

I would rather watch Ward Bute than Ward vs Abraham rematch or Kelly Pavlik
