Bute couldn't do any better also -- it was for the first time Bute met an intelligent and strong fighter, who stayed behind a long-long effective jab... That destroyed all Bute's game plans... Normally, Bute can't do any better against Froch -- but what's felt "normal" these days?!?

You can still be his fan you know, boxers don't have to be perfect.
Bute won me over as a fan for the heart he showed to stay on his feet during the onslaught and the dignity he showed in defeat.Comment

Grachev was getting his ass handed to him by Sillakh, knocked down early, before the KO. It wasn't as if Grachev did anything special to beat Sillakh. Rather, Sillakh just had a glaring defense flaw that Grachev took advantage of. Teddy Atlas, who was calling the fight, kept harping on Sillakh's defensive issue (the one that cost him the fight) and saying it was Grachev's only real chance.
Grachev is a tough guy with good power. Not particularly fast, not particularly good with combinations, etc. Pressure style fighter. If Bute boxes him, he shouldn't have much of a problem with him.Comment

I think Bute will win this fight and can't wait for the rematch against Froch ...
Will he beat him ? I'm not sure but I did like what his trainer said this week : Bute last opponents before Froch started to lay down like flies, he KO them. But Bute ain't no '' KO boxer '' . He tried to go head to head with Froch ( he's a tough so* ) and that turned very badly. Bute will go back to what made him a champ ...
Lets see how it goes saturday
