Then he signed to fight Williams, an extremely tough opponent and unfortunately Williams had his accident and that was off. Lastly there was Ortiz, he got his jaw broken and that was the end of that.

That's 3 tough challenges he dared to take so where is this about him being a duck stem from? Yeah Lopez wasn't the best choice but he was the guy who broke the guy he was supposed to fight's jaw.

And coming from a huge Floyd fan, if he isn't on his A game when they fight, Alvarez could beat him handily. I just can't imagine Mayweather dominating Saul, the kid is too strong, fast, and smooth with the combinations.

And I agree with Larry's statement that Saul would KO Manny at 154.

It's easy to look like "the real deal" and "the future of boxing" when the deck is stacked in his favor. We'll see where he is in two years.

Until he actually gets in the ring with a real threat he's going to continue getting hate. It's very easy to call people out and then ending up fighting freaking Josesito Lopez, I mean yeah the fight with Kirkland and Williams couldn't be made, but what about Lara, Vanes, Molina, Trout or even freaking K9?

Kirkland wasn't really a threat to me but Williams was. Even though he got his ass kicked by Lara, stylewise I think he would have been a very difficult opponent. It's a shame the fight didn't happen.

Canelo fans need to be patient. When he fights and stops Cotto he'll finally get the recognition he deserves from the hardcore fans.

If Mayweather thinks he can take a year layoff and face Alvarez he's in trouble. He's not the guy you do that against.

So since he signed to fight them means he already beat them? The Kirkland fight I have a problem with because he just isn't that good imo and the Williams fight I was pumped for. For real he could have picked a better opponent than Josesito Lopez for crying out loud. He needs to fight a top 5 opponent asap
