Khan says he left Roach partly because of the Parkinsons

Khan also said he saw some deterioration of Roach due to the trainer’s battle against Parkinson’s disease.

“It’s hard to see him older and getting worse,” Khan said. “I wish him the best. Freddie, with the Parkinson’s disease, he was struggling with instructions and couldn’t move as well.”

I just spoke to Roach. He said, "If that was true, why would he say to me, 'Fire Manny Pacquiao and Chavez Jr.' And they would keep me?"

More Roach: "Parkinson's had nothing to do with it. They know that. And I wish them the best of luck."

No they don't make sense. If he stopped working with Pacquiao and Chavez he'd be able to put more effort into training Khan as less would be taken out of him physically.

Wow disgraceful comments from Khan. I believe Roach, he even offered Khan to find him a new trainer immediately after the Garcia loss but Khan said no. Then a few months later he left Roach and now he's blaming the parkinson's? That's how you treat the guy that resurrected your career from the ashes?

Well that's one way of looking at it. Not sure that's what Khan was saying though (as he really isn't that bright).

Not sure what your old trainer's physical condition has to do with your glass jaw Amir. The person who handles Khan's PR must be a moron. He inserts his foot in his mouth every time he speaks.
