I would have to go with Canelo, he is the natural bigger guy and while both guys have decent boxing skills we saw what Cotto's boxing got him against Manny and I think Canelo throws tighter punches which should help him avoid getting countered somewhat.

Plus there is the whole mental side of it, tough to come back from a beating like Manny gave Cotto and just be able to operate at 100%, Cotto was able to do it against Margarito but Margarito ain't no Pacquiao and there was the whole wrap issue which could have given Cotto confidence there isn't that same sort of issue with Manny that could allow Cotto to just move past that beating. Canelo is a young hungry and confident guy with no such mental hang-ups, it would certainly be his toughest test and Manny might be able to break him but I think it would be easier for Manny to break Cotto a second time than the break a totally new guy.

I think Canelo stands a good chance but it really comes down to me not giving Cotto much of a shot at all against Manny.

Canelo I believe would put a beating to pacquiao. Canelo has much more power behind him and he is very composed when he fights. Pacquiao might have speed on Canelo, but Canelo would use his size, power and boxing skills to take Pacquiao to his edge, hurt him and finish him!

Cotto easy. What has Canelo done to show he can hang with Manny at all at any weight class? He has a distinct size advantage, but he gets touched by most of his opponents. Manny will touch him, and he has the power to hurt him. When Canelo beats a legit opponent close to Manny's class, then I'll reconsider.

how often do you get your predictions right? there is no semblence of a style analysis here, you think canelo will win on size alone basically

you lot will never learn, haven't you realized a fighter who looks to block rather than move his head vs manny will eat a combo, not to mention canelo's shtty defence which seems to be standing just out of range
like to see how out of range he manages to stay when he isn't fighting blown up bums, not even blown up fighters worth a damn

a less shot shane mosley who looked like he was ready to go from floyd mayweather potshots and pacquiao's one hits, managed to stick around taking flush combo's for the full 12 vs canelo yet canelo is so big, so strong and such a monstrous puncher that he'll just overwhelm pacquiao with size and ko him, is this what's going through your little heads?

canelo is a big puncher, right, a big puncher against who? most fighters have ko's starting their careers off vs completely unmatched opponents, only difference with canelo is he seems to want to stick those training grounds

he can punch, but he's not a knockout artist, you'll see when he steps up in competition
