It would depend on how Manny's punches have an effect on him. If Paquiao can hurt him, we do not know how Canelo will handle it. If he takes them fine he will win the fight. If he gets hurt and cannot handle even Manny's diminished speed, than he will get beat up.

I find there are still too many unanswered questions about Canelo. If I could truly gage how good he is as a fighter it would be easier. As of now though, none of us know how good he is because of the way he has been handled.

Who has Canelo fought to belong in the same sentence with Pacquiao? Somebody please enlighten me! Canelo will get peppered all night long, he is way to static for a fighter like Pacquiao.

manny is overrated, extremely overrated. Canelo Is probably a better overall boxer than manny.

I think Canelo would be able to time him and beat him. If anything, Manny has shown he can be timed and Canelo has exceptional timing. It more then makes up for his lack of foot speed. He has good hand speed, good timing, and a huge size advantage. There's weight classes for a reason.

At 154, I don't give Manny much of a shot. But I think most top 10 154 lber's beat him at 154 pounds. Manny is great, but I believe 147 is his limit. Dude is already small for 147 and should probably be fighting at 135 or 140.

I know he likes to throw in combinations and the Manny of old (08-09) would've dropped a guy like that.

I'm not sure who I'd go with, only because I haven't seen Canelo against top opposition or against a southpaw.

It's one of those fights where I'd know who would win after I saw the first 2 rounds.
Ryan Rhodes was a southpaw, which is probably Canelo's best win. I know it's not saying much, but still. Don't know much about Rhodes, but I'm pretty sure he was a career Middleweight until he dropped down to 154. I think he was undefeated at that weight until Canelo stopped him.

Ryan Rhodes isn't great. But he was considered by many to be a top 10 Jr Middleweight when Canelo beat him.

Now what about Canelo goes down 4 pound and Pacman goes up 4 pound and do this at 150?
