It better be a top 154 pounder or else I'm through being a Canelo fan.

if it's not Floyd, it will be some smaller guy again
then it will be Floyd after that
he'll get away with bypassing a mandatory for a Floyd cash grab
Lara will win vs Vanes and have to play the waiting game

WBC bends over backwards for high ratings mexicans.

Canelo can do whatever the Phuck he wants, lol. When he steps up with the big names and beats them, you"ll still be hating coming up with excuses to not like him.

He'll probably face the winner of Cotto/Trout in May, and then the winner of Lara/Vanes in September.

Who'd of thunk it, I see him calling out May, Martinez and fighting Cesar Cuenca, good record, little, and one KO in 40 fights, seems right to me

Canelo's trying to pick up the right time to face a "credible" opponent. He probably saw what happened with Chavez-Martinez and decided to take extra time off. Ducking mandatory challengers this early in his paper championship reign? Now he wants to kick Cotto further down the hill, scavenge off what's left of Martinez after surgery, and have his first loss against his vacation guru. No excuses or hate, just facts.

Ivan Calderón comes out of retirement to challenge Canelo at 154.
