Mad at himself for trying to be something he is not? He is a limited fighter; will never be at the level of Pac or Floyd. That isn't something to be ashamed of. I think his motivation for returning to the ring is ****ed.

Boo hoo, sad story. Get over it Ricky.

What if this soft touch that he's getting ready to fight, knocks him out. Then what? This guy that he's about to face, sure aint no Floyd or Manny.

Obviously, he's coming back to climb his way back to the top. Can you blame him? Again, as the world has told him, he lost to two of the best fighters.

The fact that he even got those opportunities, along with the crazy support from his fans, made him a king in that respect.

Leave the coke alone Ricky. I'm sure you were sober while training and fighting in the biggest bouts of your career, I'm sure you didn't wanna kill yourself then.

So why did you want to afterwards? Easy answer, coke. I wonder how his previous 40+ opponents felt when they lost to him...wonder if they binged on coke and tried to kill themselves.

Suicide is some selfish stuff...especially when you have a family to take care of. Getting back in the ring and doing the very thing that led you to suicide attempts, is weird to me.

Can you say, money, power, and glory? That's what messed him up in the first place. Get those paychecks Ricky, and spare us the sob stories please.

When was the last time a Man committed suicide by cutting his wrists? Women commit suicide like that, studies have shown that most men just blow their brain's out with a gun. Sound's like a sob story... c'mon ricky nobody's buying it.

wow some pretty dumb people commenting here, as if Hatton's the first rich person to get depressed? It's a mental not a material problem...

Adrenaline is like a drug, people get addicted to it and similarly get withdrawal from it as well, he tried replacing the buzz he got from boxing with drugs and alcohol (obviously) it didn't work, and he got depressed.

Male depression is of the most under diagnosed problems in western society and it is precisely because of the bull**** macho culture that people are afraid to come forward.

Good on ricky and good luck with the comeback...
