Miguel Vazquez is a world champion for many reasons. This will not be an easy fight for Mercito Gesta. Vazquez has never been knocked out, and has faced strong opponents like Saul Alverez and Timothy Bradley, Bredis Prescott and Lenny Zappa. Vazquez may not have a heavy knockout punching style, but he is a smart technical boxer and is very quick on his feet. Miguel Vazquez's opponents always have trouble landing a combination of punches on him, and this is why no one has been able to knock him out, it is almost impossible to land a combonation of power punches on Vazquez as he is very quick on his feet and has an awkward tricky style to figure out. Vazquez is a smart fighter, who punishes his opponents with perfect timing counter punches. Gesta is a good fighter, but is not ready to face the skill level of Vazquez at this stage of his career. Adrien Broner avioded Vazquez for a reason, just like so many other fighters have done, including Brandon Rios. Miguel Vazquez will expose Mercito Gesta on December 8th. But gotta give some credit to Gesta for being brave enough to challenge Vazquez for the IBF world title.

you single handedly made your last fight into a total snoozefest, f#ggot

keep this loser off of network TV. he's not a TV fighter. the only thing i'd like to see him do on TV would be getting a knockout loss on his record.

You cant knock Miguel Vazquez out if you cant hit him! That is what makes Miguels boxing style so entertaining to watch, all these guys trying to land that big knockout punch, but always failing miserably. While in the meantime Miguel keeps sticking that left jab out and throwing the overhand right and snapping the head back of his opponent with ease, scoring points and evading power punches from his opponent. He throws sneaky uppercuts from nowhere and totally outsmarts his opposition in every way possible. Miguels evasiveness is of the highest standard in the sport of boxing. Anyone who truely understands and appriciates the technical side of boxing will know that Miguel is one of the best fighters in boxing history. Miguel will prepare well for the fight against Merecito Gesta and will show once more that he is the best lightweight boxer on this planet.
