really? have you seen his resume at 105? i think he fought 1 guy who was in the top 10 at the time he fought them. lots of defenses does not equal great.

He fought a good combination of ex, current, and future titlists in that weight. Look it up.

The other good champion at his time at minimumweight was probably Rachman, who struggled to beat Daniel Reyes, who in turn got shut out by Calderon a year later.
