What's this fascination with his fight with Marquez? Unless that's the only fight you've seen of him and that applies to 98% of the haters in here
This has nothing to do with Marquez or Nishi or Mijares.

It's all about the Cult of Rigo.

It's getting stronger as Halloween approaches.

If someone approaches you with Team Rigo shirt and asks if you want to be audited or take a stress test in the next few days, RUN!

And the last sentence is absolutely the case. No doubt about it.
Nishi was almost universally seen as number one for a few years at the weight. He had a series of solid wins as the division reset between runs. Somehow, Rigo beating Rico Ramos erased all that.

After Arce, Donaire will give us a FOTY with Mijares. Mijares has an 11 fight winning streak. Donaire only fights guys with winning streaks. He's a beast.

Narvaez: Winning streak: None. He was undefeated, i've said enough.
Vazquez Jr: One fight winning streak.
              Mathebula: 3 fight winning streak.
Nishioka: 8 year/16 fight winning streak[Including wins over the great Johnny Gonzalez and the legendary Rafael Marquez].

              Next Victims:

              Arce: 9-0-2 since 2009.
              Mijares: 11[7 brutal stoppages]-0 since 2009.

Rigondeaux, Mares and Moreno need to step their game up. Get some losses, followed by winning streaks against tomato cans with a faded fighter or two in between; then they can talk about a fight with Donaire. Donaire top 5 P4P. If you don't know, you betta ask somebody.

While the beast Cristian Mijares has an 11 fight winning streak in his sparkling 50+ fight career, Rigondeaux only has 11 pro fights What a joke.

Beat Johnny Gonzalez in 1856. The win was so good, The Ring just kept him there until now, 2012. Nonito Donaire was brought in to finally take him down.

I know, Nishi was a monster; otherworldly. Nobody, and I mean not a soul, could put an end to the beast's reign but Donaire.

Let them hate. Donaire saved the rest of the division from Nishioka. Who else in the top 10 could have unseat Nishioka, especially in that fashion?
