Comments Thread For: Sadam Ali Crushes Warrior, Jeter Defeats Jimmy Lange

BROOKLYN, NY - 2008 U.S. Olympian Sadam "World Kid" Ali (16-0, 10 KOs) stopped Ronnie "The Natural Warrior, Jr. (13-8-1, 4 KOs) in the second round of Saturday night's main event at the Aviator Sports Complex in Brooklyn, New York

"Rising Olympian Star In The Big Apple," presented by Ali's World Kid Promotions, was distributed in the United States on pay-per-view by Integrated Sports Media.

Undefeated welterweight prospect Ali shined bright at home on a show that he also promoted. The well-rounded boxer took control in the opening round, dropped Warrior midway through the second with a short left, and finished him off with a perfectly thrown right at 2:59.

"I worked hard for this and I want to thank everybody for this opportunity," Ali said after the fight. "I hope I'm eligible to do more television events. I'm trying to get better opponents but sometimes fights fall out (Ali's original opponent Jermaine White was replaced by Warrior on two days notice). The better fighters cost a lot of money and I'm not in that position yet. I'm ready to step up.

I think the Michael Constantino situation deserves a story itself. Making his pro debut tonight in sprite if having only one hand since birth. Questions about this will certianly come up but Constantino started boxing at age 16 making it to the quarter finals in the golden gloves two times. He turned pro on this card hoping to set an example for people with disabilities.

I'll put up some pics in a lttle bit(screen shots)

Forty dollars for a PPV to watch a contender beat a hapless fighter??? Glad I didn't pay for that. This has to be the worst PPV in the history of Boxing. Next they will have the guy he beat fighting his brother in a bar for 35 bucks PPV. What a sick joke PPV has become.
