I would pick him against no one that can box worth a damn, and I wold pick him to lose firefights even though those fights suit him more.

And no I really don't think he beats any of those guys, I have seen Abregu go life and death with worse which wasn't a style thing because the guys he fought were right up his ally.
I don't agree, but time will tell...But remember I said good not great or anything..But I really believe he is a good fighter, and like I said time will tell...

But agajnst the experience of abregu and power mistakes cost you fights.

I see alot of talent on this kid hopefully he comes back
          Same way I see it..

Smaller guy or not, Martinez begged for the fight and he got it. Before martinez fought Chavez jr, who had hurt him as bad as chavez jr? don't tell me you weren't worried when martinez hit the floor and was looking like spaghetti.

"With his hand down" - Should that make it easier for chavez jr? This is in fact Martinez's style and has kept him winning and champion for a long time.

"Standing right in front of him" - Really? Martinez game plan is to stick and move, he doesn't "stand in front" of nobody for long.

Now, they're blowing on a guys nuts who is from Philly and never represented PR til' now. When that hype job steps into the ring with Maidana, Matthysse, or Rios, GOOD BYE as well.

Great night for boxing! Good W for Abregu. Thank you, Carlos!
I was about to post the same thing, you read my mind!!

                  That's exactly what he said.

Guys like Ward, Dirrell, Rigo, Cotto, Mares, Berto, DLH, Dulorme, don't really need to pad their pro records too much before they step up in competition because they usually have 100+ amateur fights under their belt. To them 20 or so pro fights is enough for them to step up their competition.
