he beats gesta. . picks apart broner from the outside. . Demarco is too slow for him. . stylistically, the toughest fight for him would be Burns.
Broner and Demarco work him over. He looks clumsy as hell when he punches and moves. Quintero buzzed him a few times and that's that Vazquez had all of the advantages. This dude is not the best LW in the world.

[QUOTE=UglyPug;12645451]vazquez fights up to the level of competition.QUOTE]Do you know how dumb that sounds when he just won a split nod that could have gone either way and against a club fighter!

How is Quintero a "club fighter"? He obviously did enough to earn a title shot by winning the eliminator. Gesta on the other hand hasn't even beat boxers ranked in the top 100 in the division.

              we'll see. . we'll see. .

Broner probably will catch him, and stop him. but Vazquez will pop him with a lot of jabs, and if he avoids Broner's big punches, he outpoints him.

DeMarco is really that as good as advertised. He is a great puncher, but he's rather slow, and crude. Vazquez would outpoint him easily.

Rios shouldn't even be in the discussion anymore since he isn't at 135.

I think Vasquez is a pretty good fighter. I like the fact that he uses the entire ring to his advantage. He's a mover, that's his style. Can the movement get excessive? Yes, but not everyone has the endurance/stamina to pull it off, so kudos to him.

vazquez has the ugliest style i've ever seen tho........was hoping quintero would get the decision because quintero vs gesta would be ten times better than vazquez vs gesta.

Gamboa wouldn't snatch a thing, stylistically Vazquez is all wrong for him. We already saw what happened to Gamboa when he couldn't get Barros to play his game, Vazquez operates a lot better and is a very committed pure boxer, Vazquez's ranginess alone would be troubling. That wasn't his best performance though, still felt Vazquez beat Quintero clearly.
