Brewster might because if you KO the guy in Germany, at least you get a draw.
BRO, no offence, but don't you know that PROFESSIONAL BOXING is the most corrupt 'sport' in the world!....Don't you know that all it is, is money wanted by promotors!!

I think this has a lot to do with Byrd's promotional problems. He swore after the Wladimir loss never to fight in Germany again. Don King has been wanting to put the rematch there since last year. It would be incredibly ****** of Byrd to go there to and defend.

As you said, Brewster would have a chance.

Wlad vs Brewster would be a much easier sell here in the states as opposed to Wlad vs Byrd. I am guessing that if Wlad fights Brewster it will take place here and vs Byrd would be in Germany.

If Brewster walks down the street in any U.S city, only perhaps a select few would recognize him!....If Wladamir walks down any street in Germany, i guarantee you that perhaps 80% of the people would recognize him........Germany has a population of about 90million people and one of the richest affluent economies in the world.

conclusion: whether we like it or not, the U.S has lost its luster as the Mecca of Boxing and now other countries have a lot to offer.

I don't believe King would allow Brewster to fight Wlad in Germany. King would be scared that his boy might lose in controversial fashion.

Well I am pretty sure that Brewster would go back there before Byrd.

Either way this fight needs to happen. Brewster vs Wlad will go a looooong way in clearing things up after their first encounter. I am not interested in Byrd vs Wlad even though that would probably be a much easier fight for Wlad and he would most likely be crowned IBF champ, I prefer Wlad to answer those lingering questions against Brewster.

US is still the place to fight. I think "losing" its luster, rather than "lost." But you are right about the money in Germany... all you need to do is watch King. Don is going to follow the money and be wherever it's at, believe that. No coincidence that he's been bumping peniuses with all the Germans and other Euros in 05.

I think I'd still rank the US as tops, with Vegas, but Germany (where do they normally fight? Berlin?) is close behind, with Manchester not far behind either.
