Floyd vs Roy Jones jr h2h. This is one champion Roy can beat imo

Roy Jones Jr was one of the most amazing 168LBERS in the history of the sport in terms of agility, reflexes, speed etc.

His win against Ruiz was amazing in that he was a former SMW going up to HW and winning against a legitimate Heavyweight. That being said, I think that at HW we have to go back to Floyd P to find a legit HW Champion that Roy can beat.

I thought long about Michael Moorer's HW version but just don't see how Roy's Ruiz version could avoid the bombs long enough to score a points victory.

Floyd's chin was underrated mind you and it wasn't the glass that some people thought it were.

This is still a largely 50/50 fight because
Patterson didn't just throw leaping shots that Roy could easily avoid. His offense consisted of him coming in with headmovement shooting his left jab, throwing tight left hooks, straight right crosses, ripping to the body. He fought behind a stiff left jab with great evasive movement throwing everything tight, hard, and fast. Roy might not be able to edge the decision over a 12 round fight and could very well be stopped around the 8th.

I actually think Roy could do better going in at lhw as compare to the HW version in this mythical h2h.

By underrated I meant it wasn't like Amir Khan level.... It's not like Roy's first combination will have Floyd knocked out cold. I know it's not strong, but neither was Roy's tbh. Roy's shocking speed/agility/reflexes kept his chin safe during his prime days, but we are talking about a HW Version of ROy Jones and in the Ruiz fight he did get hit, Ruiz was just too passively ******ed to do anything after each attack. Just stood there like a god damn moron tree to get chopped.

Jones would have a good chance against most old HW's that were under 200lbs.

Chuvalo landed on that thing all night and didnt hurt him once.

Some people act like a stiff wind would knock him out. That was clearly not the case.
