    Craig McEwan believes his time in the famous Wild Card Gym in LA will be the difference in the Betfair Prizefighter Light Middleweights III at York Hall, Bethnal Green on Saturday November 3, live on Sky Sports.

    The Scotsman in back in Britain after seven years in the States training with Freddie Roach in the Hollywood gym that boasts the biggest names in boxing. The 30 year old has boxed twice in Scotland since returning and says that being the last man standing in the 27th edition of Matchroom Sport’s eight man, one night tournaments will propel him into title contention.

        See at least Mcewen understand that he cant be on the level of these US boxers are at... We need more guys like this.. Because alot of boxers are delusional , for example, Rios beating Pacroid, Khan being a champion again, Canelo fighting a legit 154 pounder oh even better Pavlik beating Ward, i mean thats delusional guys..lol... Oh and my favorite Alexander not fighting Brook in UK becasue he thinks he is known in the US. dude only 5 people watch ur fight.. and thats your fam bam son.. You are a borefest to watch...

          McEwan is better than European level and should be fighting gatekeepers & contenders. It's a shame to see someone like him in Prizefighter and I can only hope that it does actually get his career moving over here. Since his return he's fought two opponents with big losing records, the sort of fights a debutant would take not a seasoned professional who's boxed the likes of Andy Lee.
