Only legit undefeated fighter in that list is Andre Ward.

People hate perfection...but if you lose you are shot, overrated or exposed.

            He did say 'not always'.

The tag 'undefeated' implies that a boxer has fought everyone, ducked no one and came out victorious - but with most of those on that list we know that isn't true.

The undefeated tag is in most cases manufactured through careful match-making, avoidance of prime threats and even gifted robberies thus it becomes little more than a marketing gimmick.

The exception on that list is Andre Ward who has fought and beat every live threat in his division bar Lucian Bute who himself was much more keen on a Froch bout and Andre Dirrell who ducked him to leave the Super 6.

Let's be honest here, Ward could probably fight everyone in his division twice and still be undefeated and it's not a weak division - that is a genuine undefeated fighter.

Cos some deluded fans and the boxer themselves sometimes thinks its an excuse to consider either their favourite boxer or themselves the best cos of the undefeated record.

Ie, Floyd fans thinks they can use a unbeaten record as proof of being the best, or Floyd himself thinks its of any consequence.

Especially considering most people think Floyd already should have a loss. Other than that he dont fight as well as having the reputation as the biggest chicken, duck and cow.....ard, all farm animals, so dont boast.
