    It Trout beats Cotto...

Does that mean Trout is next in line to fight Mayweather? I'm just saying, a lot of poster on here have said Mayweather vs. Canelo would be a good fight if Canelo were to beat Cotto.

I'd assume Mayweather vs Canelo is set for May 4th if Pacquiao vs Mayweather isn't set. Otherwise, I'd say fight the winner of Vanes Martirosyan vs Erislandy Lara.

The ball is in mayweathers court, not trouts(should he win). Id assume that mayweather would choose canelo instead, to collect a fat check on cinco

Sorry, I should have made myself more clear... If Trout were to beat Cotto, would that make Trout a legit contender against Mayweather or are motherf.uckers still going to hate and say Mayweather is ducking Martinez, Pac, & Canelo because he's fighting Trout?

Trout even after beating Cotto wouldn't get a fight with Floyd. I'd say he'd line himself up against any of the top names at 154. He just doesnt bring a big enough name unless he KTFO of Cotto early, but I don't see that happening.

All Trout has going for him is his size advantage. Cotto is the far more superior boxer. and he'll show it on Dec, 1.

Cotto will dominate Trout , so would Floyd.

This. Even if he beats Cotto, he won't land a big money fight. Maybe a rematch.
