Les ‘Lock N Load’ Sherrington has announced that he will face Philippine Middleweight Randy Suico for a WBO Asia Pacific Title, in what is dubbed to be his last fight on Townsville soil, before making his way to the US, in a move that will steer him towards a major world title fight.
Les Sherrington is confident and feels that there isn’t a better way for him to see out what has been the happiest, most exciting and successful year of his career. He has said “I am the luckiest man in the world. Personally, I have married the girl of my dreams and we have welcomed our beautiful baby girl this year. Professionally, I have joined an awesome camp and train with some of the best in Australian Boxing here at Smithy’s Gym, I am being promoted by Joe Pennisi, Ringside Fight Promotions and I have fought and won two incredibly challenging and career changing fights, with two world titles over two different weight divisions. What better way to finish off the year, than with the opportunity to fight for a WBO title against a tough Philippine opponent?”
