Mormeck cause he was well past it and a cruiserweight.
apart from him Brewster and Rahman were CLEARLY past their prime.

        went with mormeck.

the fact that he fought tony thompson twice was pretty lame as well..

Have to agree with the choice being Mormeck, just an old shell of a fighter.

It was pretty sad to see him go from fighting Gaye to fighting his cruiserweight leftovers....

              Mormeck by a long way.

The second one was a mandatory title defense though.

Wlad didn't want the second fight with Thompson.

But the IBF made Thompson the mandatory (for beating Maurice Harris!) so Wladimir HAD to fight him.

Even though Mormeck shouldn't have been there fighting for the title, I voted for Brewster because he was on medical suspension in the states and shouldn't have been fighting with one eye. Germany is not required to honor the U.S. comission's suspension.

No, Lamon was cleared in the US months before the second fight with Wladimir. And he fought again in the US afterwards.
