Coming from a black man (me), it's hard to watch my people aspire to make money, and blow it on making it rain and buying expensive things.

I can't hate on him because it's his money, but all of these "finer things" that these guys spend money on, they forget the most important part....maintenance.

Mansions, utilities costs for mansions, wifing up gold diggers, expensive cars, business ventures/expenses, etc...ALL have to be maintained. The purchase isn't final, just because you pay it off up front.

With that in mind, I cant feel bad for these guys when they financially hit the deck. If it happened to the best of them (Holyfield and Tyson), then it can happen to Floyd.

These cats live the life that the average citizen can only dream of. Whenever he's ready to fight again, then I'll pay it some attention.

respect your point but don't buy into the inherent racism of some posters on this site. don't assume that a black athlete or fighter will go broke because they ball out in the club.

Holyfield got into financial trouble because he built a 52,000 sq foot house, on land he purchased, and has 12 kids by 8 or 9 different women. Tyson went broke because don king stole from him and he got divorced a few times. They spent SIGNIFICANTLY more money and did it way more recklessly than floyd appears to spend.

Making it rain with 20k in singles, giving out champagne, is hood as hell. But its not the same as porly investing your money or not knowing the fine print in your contract.

With hardly a peep coming out of Floyd in sometime, it looks like he's out in the club doing his thing.
