I think Gennady Golovkin, Sergio Martinez and Andy Lee can all beat Quillin imo but I do like him.

Was this in the post fight interview? Must have missed it as I went off on a typical ya tu sabes after the announcement. He also "ducked" Martinez. He said he wasn't ready for him and we saw that last weekend. The dude has never seen championship rounds and he obviously needs to get some rounds in, especially for a guy with Martinez's conditioning. But Im still a fan and at least he kept it real. Instead of faking injuries and ****. No biggie.Comment

Kid Chocolate has been calling out Martinez for at leas the last year and a half, along with Pavlik. Simple Youtube search would prove that.
Can't find the vid but I recall one where Quillin was on the streets of NY attempting to promote\call out Martinez..Last edited by damit305; 10-23-2012, 08:50 PM.Comment

i think he means, he was getting out boxed in every round unless he connected on a power punch, and he wasn't throwing enough punches.
dude doesn't stand a chance against martinez, or chavez for that matter, assuming chavez can make 160 again in decent condition. I'd like to see him in with golovkin just to get a better grasp on each guy, winner makes a strong case for Martinez.Comment

You can make a decent case for Martinez, but Chavez c'mon. Chavez would be lucky if Pete decides to leave less marks on that face than Martinez. Quillin fought a good bulk of his career at Super middle. Chavez would be turned into a gate keeper if he decided to scrap Chocolate.i think he means, he was getting out boxed in every round unless he connected on a power punch, and he wasn't throwing enough punches.
