I guess he can prove me wrong here.
Winning is enough to get him to this stage.

Ortiz-Berto II called off because Berto tests positive. Ortiz faces Josesito Lopez, get his jaw broken in 9 and quits. Berto doesn't get suspended and actually gets an interim title fight on HBO in his next bout, possibly for a shot at Floyd Mayweather.

I'm not going to entirely rule out Guerrero out-skilling him to a decision, as Berto has not shown any signs of intelligent boxing and adaptability... But lets not forget Guerrero was hit many times by lesser fighters (which says a lot becuz Berto isn't exactly elite himself) with much slower hands...

So basically, Berto wins this by KO with a fast counter Guerrero didn't see coming... That's the safest bet IMO...

Ortiz has a swarming inside style and devastating punching power... Guerrero is more mid-range which is also Berto's comfort zone... and, like Paul Williams, his so called "boxing skill" is really just throwing lots of punches from long range... Just becuz Guerrero throws straighter shots, and set them up a little better, doesn't make it any less the same thing Paul Williams did

Collazo, Ortiz?? Don't see connection to Guerrero?

Its not one of those triangle theories is it? Collazo/Ortiz > Berto, than Guerrero > Berto despite the being no evidence of Guerrero > Collazo/Ortiz?

Guerrero seems like a stand up dude, family guy, all that. But Berto is going to F him up. Guerrero's been looking for that Mayweather lotto ticket but really he needs to go down to 140 where he would dominate. Berto is implementing Nonito's training techniques for stamina and it should pay off starting with this fight.
