Promoter Peper Gomez of Cancun Boxing has announced that Tomoki Kameda (24-0, 15 KOs), the WBC's silver bantamweight champion, is now being promoted by his company. Tomoki is getting the star treatment in Mexico. Usually non Mexicans get the bum rush and beat out of town, but not "mejicanito" Kameda. Mexicans will accept outsiders, ask Jose Napoles, but Tomoki may not progress with such easy pickings. This Franco he's set to fight was just KO'd badly and should be no problem or use for his development.
