Watch, his next fight will be against Danny Garcia, and he's going to force him to move up to 154. Garcia will do it too, since that's a retirement type pay check.

A fight with Martinez can't possibly get any bigger, and Canelo is as ready as he'll ever be, name recognition wise, and boxing skill wise. Those are pretty much the only fights he can legitimize to boxing fans, and no word from him.

This is what he always does. Takes a long break. Then has a "tune up" fight. Floyd's followers are okay with it, since he needs to "knock the rust off". Same old recycled story line.
Floyd is an A$$ Hole. He likes to play games. He knows everyone wants to know whats next and he gets off on not saying anything. Yes, this is how he repays his public, which is why he is so rich in the first place. BTW, he did have an interview where he said he doesn't even want to think about boxing right now.

Ortiz was a former 140 LB. fighter that had heart/chin issues. Cotto been beat the hell up. It's a testament to his skills that he's still even fighting at this stage. Jmm was a super blown up LW that moved up for a pay day. Not to mention Floyd didn't even make weight for the fight. Even before the fight, guys like Dan Rafael and others were all but saying this was a joke fight. I'll give you Mosley, even though he's way way past his prime. He did just come off the Margarito win.

Can you with a straight face, tell me that's an above average resume? Not for any fighter. Because yes. That's a good resume. We're talking about the supposed "GOAT". The "p4p king". The creme de la creme. Man please! Take that talk to a casual boxing fan. I'm not a sucker.

You guys keep treating Floyd like he's any other fighter. He's the supposed "GOAT". You should hold him to the highest standard.

Who cares where he is at! We have Mares/Moreno, Ghost/Berto, Cotto/Trout, return of Hatton, Pac/JMM (which he must win first in order to continue recycled conversations), and Broner/DeMarco.

But this shows whether you love him or hate him Floyd is boxing. Threads are being made about his silence.

Whether you love him or hate him. He's good for boxing. He's also the "measuring stick" for fighters. If you can beat him, which I think guys can, than you will catapult into over night super stardom. The problem is, he's not giving anyone with a pulse a chance!

While not testing himself at the same time.

Ortiz had a glass jaw at 140 because he walks around at 170. Berto hits harder than ,Madaina and Madaina has no power. The way Ortiz crushed Berto, erased everything he did at 140 and made it seem like he was drained at that class. Even when Berto hurt Ortiz, Ortiz got up and did something rarely done. Ortiz came in at a WHOPPING 164LBS against Floyd, and got WALKED DOWN. I think its one of his most dangerous opponents at 47'. Cotto couldnt even feel Floyd's punches at 54. He was able to basically bull doze Floyd, and I feel Pac would not be able to hurt Cotto at that class. Floyd fought JMM coming off an amazing 2 yr layoff. He humiliated him so bad, that he gave the impression that the weight didnt matter. Floyd didnt even use his size to bully Juan. He just outslicked and countered all night like it was easy. And Pac just lost to an older, fatter version of the Juan that Floyd fought. Im NOT A FLOYD GROUPIE. I go in on Floyd all the time. Maybe not here because I only post here when something strikes me. I never said he was the goat. But look at these guys he fought. They were the BEST option, outside of Pac, and he fought them back to back, coming off layoffs, and DOMINATED them. Its not like he just beat them, he HUMILIATED THEM. Go save the Floyd hate for his groupies. Im not a groupie, Im just being real. Floyd fought these guys back to back, and made them look like bums. Call me when he fights them, and has tough fights with them. The fact that he made it look easy, just evens it out even more. And remember, Im not here to take up for the guy, I want him to fight Pac. But his legacy is just about intact, but STILL Missing something important, and thats that Pac fight.

Ok, for the sake of a back and fourth battle, I'll give you Ortiz. But I can never give you Marquez. Pacquiao fought the "older, fatter version of Marquez!?". Man, that's where you lost me bro. Pacquiao fought the "comfortable at WW" Marquez. The Marquez that was roided up. Floyd fought the "coming up 2 weight classes" Marquez, that looked out of shape, and slow. Not only that, but he didn't even make the required weight. Giving him even more of an advantage. Come on man.

You said, an "amazing 2 year layoff!?" Ninja what!? What champ, in the prime of their careers, with all that talent at WW, just retires out of the blue? Then comes back, and picks on way smaller opponent.

Man c'mon son. You sounding like a "floyd groupie" to me.

I'm not a hater. Just hate his "die hard" fans. When he's quiet. Usually means, he aint tryna see a certain fighter.
