People aren't forgetting but it seems like its slipped Garcia's mind. Its such a easy fight to make too, Garcia is with GBP and Matthysse has fought on GBP cards multiple times.
I can see why Garcia doesn't want the fight but I don't see why golden boy doesn't want to make it. Its a great fight stylistically.

Garcia/Judah does not intrigue me at all. I see Garcia stopping Judah by working the body with that left hand.

Timing beats speed, most of the time. Garcia has underrated timing, and even towards the end of the 2nd round against Khan, Garcia adjusted to the speed and started landing. Than, he landed the big shots in the 3rd and 4th which completely changed the whole fight.

What's dangerous is when you have amazing timing and speed.

garcia's timing is the best thing about him, it's what makes the left hook work as well it does. that being said, the judah-khan comparison means very little to me. they're completely different fighters.

talking about zab judah and the way he could fight is a very difficult thing. it's like saying john doe can roll the dice and hit 6, we know it's possible, but will he? that wasn't a great analogy, but I left it cause I think you might get what I'm trying to say. Zab CAN outbox Garcia. But that's not my prediction. I predict he gives him some fits, might go as far as looking GREAT, but he'll get caught and the fight will change.

And Khan isn't as fluid a mover as Zab imo no matter how they matched up against each other. I could, almost would suggest Zab play counterpuncher and just react to Garcia's actions, he's not going to be too fast to read, but Zab don't like pressure and I expect Garcia to continue to walk him down and break him eventually.

not to undersell garcia bc I think hes a hell of a fighter but his timing worked on a chinny amir and a shot morales. I think he is philly slick and has a natural feel for the fight game, but I think that's what is he patient and slick. This can obviously lead to success seeing his record but he's not terribly busy nor does he throw combos. I think zab does his thing against fighters who don't bring the fight to him/ swarm him. Granted this is a bit older of a zab, but I give him a real shot at taking these belts in a fight w garcia should it be made.
